Chokers, Held Close.

Discover PEHRO’s collection of 925 sterling silver chokers set with lab-certified natural gemstones, where distinctive stones meet refined, wearable silhouettes.

Each choker is led by a different gemstone, chosen for its own colour and character rather than a single signature look, from quiet, deep tones to warmer, brighter hues. As new stones join the edit, every piece keeps its own visual identity on the neckline. Our designs range from delicate everyday pieces to more expressive styles featuring beading, symbolic charms and carefully arranged stones.

Made in 925 sterling silver, these chokers are designed for women who want something more individual than a conventional necklace. Wear one on its own as a focused accent, layer it with finer chains, or choose a distinctive stone design for festive occasions, dinners and gifting.

Explore PEHRO’s gemstone chokers to find pieces defined not just by silver, but by the colour, character and story of each stone.

Every stone has its own story

Every gemstone product page includes the stone's colour, character, traditional meaning and care. Look for the gemstone guide on the piece you love.

Yes. Our gemstone pieces are made with natural gemstones chosen for their colour and character. Because they come from the earth, no two stones are exactly alike.

Every natural stone has its own tone, banding and pattern, and beaded pieces can vary a little from bead to bead. Screens also show colour differently. Your piece will be very close to what you see online, and small differences are what make it one of a kind.

Inclusions are tiny natural markings such as fine lines, cloudiness or specks that form as a stone grows. In most gemstones they are a sign of natural origin, not a defect. Some stones are loved for them: the shimmer in sunstone and the silky band of light in tiger eye both come from the stone's internal structure.

Vermeil is a fine jewellery technique where a layer of 18k gold is applied over a base of 925 sterling silver. Unlike gold-plated jewellery on base metals such as brass, the base is real silver, and the gold layer is typically thicker than standard plating.

No. Some pieces are 18k gold vermeil on 925 sterling silver, and others are 925 sterling silver. The metal is always stated on the product page, so please check the description of the piece you like.

Put your jewellery on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, keep it away from water, and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Store each piece separately in its pouch so harder stones do not scratch softer ones, and avoid strong heat and knocks against hard surfaces.

Follow the same care as above, and keep them especially clear of water, sweat, chlorine and perfume, which wear the gold layer faster. Clean them with a soft, dry cloth only. Please do not use silver polish, silver dips or abrasive cloths on vermeil, as they can remove the gold.

Any gold finish slowly wears at the points that rub against skin and clothing. Vermeil's thicker gold layer lasts longer than thin plating, and careful wear makes a real difference. If the gold does wear through, the sterling silver underneath can tarnish like any silver.

We recommend a soft, dry cloth. Some stones, such as chrysocolla, can be soft or porous, and soaking, harsh chemicals, steam and ultrasonic cleaners can damage stones and beaded strands. If a piece needs a deeper clean, please write to us before trying anything else.

Some gemstones can lose colour with long exposure to strong sunlight, heat or chemicals. When you are not wearing a piece, keep it in its pouch away from direct sun so the colours stay true.

Yes, with a little care. Stones differ in hardness, and chokers and beaded strands are more delicate than a solid pendant. Avoid tugging, sleeping in them, and wearing them for workouts or in the shower, and they will stay beautiful for much longer.

Many cultures and traditions link gemstones with meanings such as calm, confidence or protection, and we share these in our gemstone guide for those who enjoy them. These are traditional beliefs, not medical or scientific claims, and gemstone jewellery is not a substitute for medical care.

Start with the colour you are drawn to and the pieces you wear most. Then think about the metal, 925 silver or 18k gold vermeil, and the style, from delicate charm chokers to statement pieces. Our gemstone guide describes each stone's colour, character and traditional meaning to help you compare.
